Production

Pavement mesh is produced from wire, placed in two transversely-spaced directions and welded in cross points.

    Pavement meshes differ in cell form:
  • Meshes with square cells;
  • Meshes with rectangular cells;
  • Meshes with diamond cells;
  • Meshes with hex-shaped cells;
  • Meshes with trapezoid cells;
  • Meshes with zero cells.

Pavement mesh usually has square cells. For pavement mesh manufacturing wire with 4 or 5 mm diameter is used. Pavement mesh can be galvanized.

Application

    Pavement mesh application has the following advantages:
  • Reduces thickness of a grain-size layer up to 40%, saving natural resources and environment;
  • Reduces the scope of work for excavation, replacement and utilization of the soft ground;
  • Pavement mesh enables to achieve the necessary density of structural layers;
  • Increases project life time of the covering and increases overhaul periods;
  • Helps to avoid differential settlement above karst.

Production

Reinforcing mesh is produced by resistance spot welding of the rods’ X-joints, as per GOST 14098-85. It is necessary to take into account, that shearing and tensile strength of welded joints, breaking strength of point of maximum load should meet GOST requirements. Reinforcing mesh can be galvanized or PVC coated. For reinforcing mesh production wire with 4 or 5 mm diameter is used. Reinforcing mesh can be manufactured by differing methods; it can be twisted, woven, fabricated, welded, and slotted.

Application

    Reinforcing mesh is used in building and maintenance works.
  • For reinforcing fabricated and cast-in-place concrete constructions and products;
  • For reinforcing during floor and basement concreting;
  • For brickwork reinforcing;
  • For glass reinforcing;
  • Used in plastering and solid-cast building construction;
  • Used when concreting;
  • Used for area and site guarding;
