Hot-rolled steel sheets (GOST 19903-74)

Hot-rolled steel products over 500 mm width are manufactured:

• In sheets from 0.50 to 160 mm thickness
• In coils from 1.2 to 12 mm thickness

Steel sheets are divided:

• By sheared edge:
  • Without sheared edge — NO
  • With sheared edge — O
• By flatness:
  • Specially high flatness — PO
  • High flatness — PV
  • Ordinary flatness — PN
• By rolling accuracy up to 12 mm thickness:
  • Advanced accuracy — A
  • Standard accuracy — B

Hot-rolled steel sheets from quality and ordinary carbon steel for general purposes (GOST 16523-89)

Hot-rolled products manufactured on continuous rolling mill are allowed to be rolled without heat treatment. Hot-rolled steel sheets are heat treated, and coils – with or without sheared edge. The surface of a steel sheet can be etched or not.
