When choosing pipes you school take into account various factors: the possibility of leaks occurrence (incl. joints) and corrosion resistance, the possibility of breaks due to high pressure and pipe performance during the system emergency unfreezing.

Square steel pipes (GOST 8639–82)

• Side size: 10 — 120 mm
• Wall thickness: 1 — 9 mm

• Of side size
  • A 10 — 30 mm: ± 0.3 mm
  • A 35 — 50 mm: ± 0.4 mm
  • A 60 — 120 mm: ± 0.8%
• Of wall thickness
  • Electric-welded pipes: ± 10%
  • Cold-worked pipes: ± 12.5%

Rectangular steel pipes (GOST 8645–68)

• Width: 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 42, 45, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100, 120, 140, 150 mm.
• Height: 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 100 mm.
